Astar
Lord of the Desert
The archetype of the sacred desert of Tohu — the place of trial where everything borrowed burns away and bare will remains.
§ Divine postulate
Astar embodies the archetype of the sacred desert of Tohu — the place of great trial and of complete stripping bare. In its lifeless sands everything superfluous, adventitious, made and dependent burns and perishes; what remains is only the pure, bared essence — the primal will and the chaotic potencies of the Other Side.
An adept of Canaanism passes through periods of spiritual and material "desert" under Astar’s guidance, to temper their will in the fire of trial and to dissolve all outer dependencies and demiurgic constructions.
Astar teaches: only one who can stand in the bared void, losing everything borrowed, attains genuine independence and becomes able to create reality out of pure essence rather than out of imposed forms.
