Baalzelmoth

Reaper of the Other Side

The archetype of conscious death and of the harvest. Death is not an enemy but an ally, and the measure of what life is worth.

§ Divine postulate

Baalzelmoth embodies the archetype of conscious death and of the harvest. He teaches that death is not an end but a new beginning — a sacred act of gathering the fruit and passing into a new state, unbound by past patterns.

An adept of Canaanism works with death not as an enemy but as an ally: learning to die small deaths — of the ego, of old forms, of illusions — in order to gather the harvest of experience and power grown from fruit planted earlier.

Baalzelmoth embodies the idea of accepting Death widely as a faithful friend, and of studying and understanding her nature instead of fleeing it. And in accepting and grasping her, the practitioner comes to understand and truly to value life, and every moment of it.
